Hey gang, I just thought I would tell you a quick story about the Nexus 6.

I was at work the other day and was cruising twitter and noticed you could buy them from Motorola. So I thought awesome! I'll buy one now. I realized they had a drop down menu and at that point it hadn't even occurred to me to buy two. So I decided what the heck, i'll buy two of them and see what happens. Unfortunately Motorola put a hold on my order and I had to call them to clear some things up. I called them and got it figured out. The next day motorola send me an e-mail saying my order was canceled and my credit card would be refunded! What!! WHY!? So I called them and after sitting on hold for probably 45 minutes I spoke to someone who was literally no help whatsoever. Oh well.....looks like I won't be getting these phones.

Fast forward a few days in the future and I get an e-mail from Motorola saying the phones had been shipped! What??? So I did what any reasonable person would do, I listed it on ebay with a starting bid of .99 cents. My plan was to sell one and keep one. Well bidding started going so well, to be fair to everyone I listed both of them.

I sold one for 1375 yesterday and it's shipped and gone and the other one is up to 1900 dollars! It's crazy! I literally started both of them at .99 cents and I've just let everyone determine it's value. Long story short, I got very lucky and I'll probably use the profit to buy a new Moto X, and diapers and pay bills.

Anyways, thanks for reading! Have a great day. It hasn't been easy having these two nexus 6's on my desk and not being able to open them!

LOL good for you! I'm in the same boat with my 1 phone shipping Fri 11/29 from Playstore. I went last night to local TMo store to play with it and man, the phone is just too big for my liking/use. It didn't help they also slapped a big 'ol "security" thing on the back while I walked around with it. But still....

I just don't need/would use a screen that big. So when mine gets here, I'm 99% sure I'm just going to sell it on Fleabay and let the consumer dictate the price, much like you did. Christmas coming and other stuff, an extra $300-500 would go nicely now :)

I did the same thing/similar story when I ordered my Nexus 4 two years ago. I accidentally ordered 4 of them(!!) but that's because I just kept clicking the 'Add to cart' button before it vanished. Long story short, I was able to cancel 2 of them and decided to sell the 3rd on Fleabay for $600 and it was the 16gb version. Nice little profit I must say for retail at $350!

Holy crap people have bid up a 64 GB to 1,900 and bidding hasn't ended. Interesting to see how much people are willing to spend to get it quick!

There's stupid people everywhere. I want a Nexus 6 haven't even been able to order one ( not for lack of trying since 10/29) and I still would not ever pay those types of amounts for any phone.
