the touch malfunction

Hello, my htc one m8 got an issue. The touch doesn't work on the top of the screen where the notification panel is. Please help me

Welcome to Android Central! Use an app like Screen Touch Test to see if anything is registering there. If not, then the digitizer is faulty, and needs to be replaced.
