The videos I transfer from phone won't open or play on my PC.

I have a Galazy S7 active and have no problem transferring photos to my PC, but can not for the life of me get my videos transferred to my PC. I finally stumbled onto AirDroid and thought my prayers were answered, but alas, I still can't open them or get them to play. I am sure is something simple, but I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Um, get your data cable, plug your phone to your PC. It will show up as a media drive in My Computer. Copy and paste.

First, register on the site, so you can answer here, and not start another thread.

Second, what type are the files (the letters to the right of the dot in the name)?

Third, have you tried playing them in VLC? If you have and they still don't play, either they're some strange format (and if you tell us the file type, we may be able to tell you what will play them), or they\re getting corrupted when you're transferring them.
