The Volume

Whats with the volume being so low on the Inspire? I've looked everywhere and turned everything to max and still a low volume.

The volume on this phone flat out sucks. The g2 was the same I think. I have modded ringtones/text tones with wavepad and using them and its still terrible. Only thing I really dislike about this phone

So.......... I'm guessing I'll go ahead and superglue some earbuds to my ears.. damn has to be another way to increase volume

Get the glue ready lol. I sure wish there was another way but none that I know or heard of that I haven't already tried

Make sure you call HTC customer service and let them know it is a problem, I did and hopefully if enough folks do they will come out with a fix

The volume was horrible at first, but after a week of having the Inspire, I've grown to become used to the low volume and it doesn't bother me now and it actually sounds pretty loud to me now.

The volume is terrible. about as bad as an ipod touch if you ask me.

This is the only thing that annoys me about the phone. The music player seems adequate but the notification tones and ringtones are way too low. They need to address this issue!

software fix won't do. its just ****ty audio hardware.

thats one of the reasons they can sell the phone so cheap. some cheaper internal parts.

I am sure they could update it for notifications. When i was playing angry birds and a youtube video the sound was decent. Probably a simple update can fix the issue.
