So last week when I picked up my 2nd V20 (have the Titan, wanted the Silver too) I also grabbed a V10 because AT&T offered a good promo with the V20. $200 off anything in the store. I asked if I could get a V10 with $200 off and the rep said, "For you? Certainly." So I happily left with a V20 and a V10. I like to spoil thyself.

So 'round these parts I see the stories of the boot loop floating around. One would think that having a V10 means you WILL have the boot loop. I saw all these threads even before I got mine but I've decidedly put my head in the sand and choose to enjoy this seemingly stellar device. I, of course, have insurance and if the phone chooses to get squirrelly it'll get lobotomized/replaced.

Yes, I choose to walk the wild side and enjoy the V10, not worrying about the possibility of the boot loop.

Surely, there are those who've had this phone and HAVE NOT had a boot loop. Can we hear from some of you about your V10 experience so far?

Got mine in June, and no sign of the dreaded boot-loop yet. Its been trouble free and rock solid so far.

Bought mine last November. Returned it a few months ago due to an overheating issue. Got the replacement...worked great for a couple of months then the power button got weird and wouldn't wake the phone up sometimes...now I have a 3rd one on it's way. Made it under the warranty by a week! I have had no sign of the dreaded boot loop on either of the ones I've had so far. Even through the issues it's still my favorite phone I have ever owned and I've owned quite a few since I'm 51. LOL

There won't be a sign of boot loop. One day it will just happen. Sold my V10 last night and I'm picking up a V20 tomorrow.

Not sure how prevalent the bootloop issue is with the V10 compared to the G5... Hopefully you are alright! Enjoy your phones! Great choices!! :)

The V10 is an excellent choice but I am also on my second one after 10 months. However, I do believe I have a replacement that would not bootloop if I chose to keep it for a long time. Anyway, why do you have all those phones?lol

How are you certain your replacement won't get bootloop?

Well I don't know for certain. Just guessing really.lol But I'll be getting the V20 soon so I wont have a chance to find out. Oh yeah and the serial number is different from the last one. I was in a thread about the bootloop issues and I think 90% of us had the same serial number on the phone.

Only 4 phones. They're fun. Just like purses, shoes, clothes. Variety is fun.

Lol only 4? And that's an expensive collection unless you were able to get them all at a lower price which I doubt cause the V20 just came out. More power to you. I think two is enough actually as everybody should have one backup just in case your main phone dies, has to get repaired or gets stolen/lost.

I have my old S4 that I let my daughter use on WiFi. And it's the phone I used when I sent my Galaxy Note Edge to Samsung three times for repair. And when my V10 bootlooped and I was waiting for a replacement. And when I sold the V10 to get the V20 cause I didn't want to be stuck with a bootloop prone phone out of warranty.

Haha. I need my tek

I've had no bootloop issue with mine... Have had mine since February..
That's great to read. I've decided to use my V10 for work (instead of one of my V20s). Since the V10 is super durable and the V20s are super nice it seems more appropriate that the V10 gets grunge duty. ...but I'll still keep it pristine and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't fail me.
