Theft detection lock

I just had a quick question, does turning on theft detection lock and all the other related features drain the battery at all? I was just curious about that. Thanks!

I saw some funny write ups about testing this but I don't plan to use it right now. I'm worried I'll lock myself out.

No issues at all with my battery the phone has been running along the same as before in my early observations
