Just got the 10 update today and tried to activate dark mode where it told me couldn't be turned on with a theme applied.

I when I select the theme button from the home screen nothing happens. When I go in the the Galaxy store and in to the theme section I can see anywhere that I can reset to the default layout for icons/wallpaper etc so I can apply the dark mode.

Anybody else experiencing this? I'd rather not have to do a factory reset to get the default theme back so I can turn dark mode on.

Any help is greatly appreciated

That's correct. Unfortunately a reset will still yield the same results.

If you long press a empty spot on the home screen then tap theme and tap on the person icon onto right next to 3 dots you can choose your default theme ,icons ect

Ok got it figured out. The Theme store was disabled for some reason. Enabled it and now it's working and was able to reset the theme to default and thus, able to set the dark mode.
