Theming Question

So, I downloaded a material design theme (I hate Samsung's phone icon) and everything was fine until I installed Google Now Launcher. The icons have reverted back (although the themed icons are still in Edge Display).

The S6 Edge definitely retained the themed icons in Google Now Launcher...

Any ideas please?

It did? My S7 edge hasn't gotten here yet so I'm still on my S6 edge and it doesn't keep themed icons in 3rd party launchers. That's been my only wish for their theming system

Hmmm, maybe not then - it was a while ago.
I've reverted back to Nova Prime with some stock icon replacements anyway.
