*EDIT: Disregard the links shown below. I don't know if they are real or counterfeit V20 phones from China but it seems like they are. Please do research on the seller before buying!*

There's still brand new V20's on eBay if anyone's still looking. The T-Mobile version starts at $231.99 and Verizon $269.99. There's also the LG G5 for $160.99. These prices are VERY good if you're comparing with today's mid-range phones which don't even come close to the specs. Might be your last chance as they are discontinued from stores and online retailers. The eBay seller appears to be a liquidator reseller. eBay is legit and safe especially with PayPal, there's always a money back guarantee with them... I've had better experience with eBay than on Swappa.

Hope this helps if anyone's looking. A good tip is to always make sure the condition as "NEW" and not "NEW - OTHER" because new is literally brand new sealed and new-other is basically refurbished or a returned item.

I bought mine from B&H like 6 months ago for $300. It was at&t unlocked model and b&h offered their own warranty for one year instead of manufactured warranty.

I did too, but B&H only sells the US unlocked version which doesn't have FM radio. Plus they are completely sold out now.

Heck yeah picked up the NEW t-mobile one off ebay and the battery had a January 2018 date so a fresh one!

I'm seriously thinking of buying another one as a back up. There seems to be a resurgence of interest in the V20 as more people are "discovering" this gem of a phone and realizing you don't have to pay premium prices for a premium device.

Seller is in Hong Kong. These could be clones. Even if they are legit 2 weeks + for delivery and if we have to return item it will need to go to NY then Hong. Kong b4 (if) we get a refund.

Had it been a legit American dealer I'd be all over it. I'd prefer a legit VZW refurb to these "new" phones.

Thanks for searching though and if anyone buys one please let us. know

You're right. I've seen a "fake v20 clone" shown on YouTube. These guys are not disclosing whether or not these are legit, and one of them was selling a PINK T-Mobile V20 which does not exist. Thanks for pointing it out. Guess it's much harder to find new V20s than it seems. Hang on to your V20s guys, it's a piece of history.

Hey guys, disregard the links shown. I don't know if they are real or fake V20 clones, there's not enough evidence to know if it's real or not. If you already bought one, please share your experience and let us know.

The VZW one you linked us to. One poster said he never got his. Another poster said the charger was not LG even though in an LG original package so he questioned whether they were really new or really LG.
Which seller was it? There may be some fake V20s circulating around...

Here's the fake V20. Super obvious that it's fake:

Either fake or not, some sellers may sell phones as "Brand New" but they could be repaired and refurbished devices. Be careful out there, always check the seller's feedback.

I knew something was a little weird when it said delivery may take 14 days.

If they don't have it IN HAND and can't ship it next business day it's a scam of SOME sort.

Yeah, unfortunately these phones are no longer reasonably available except as "turn-ins" or "refurbs" in the main. I bought mine when the previous batch of NOS units started hitting the streets (which I knew immediately on turn-on as it had *March '07* firmware on it and took over an hour to sequentially load all the updates!) but it appears that now the flow of this has all been consumed so what's left is people either selling theirs (one at a time), the trickle of flow from people that turn them in for upgrades (and are then looked at, sorted and resold) or folks trying to run some sort of scam.

Time to move on from the V20.

The issue is that the successor device has gone into the wrong direction.
Glass back that shatters with first drop on concrete = no
Non-servicable battery = no.
$ 800 price = NO WAY.
