I'm sort of glad my Nexus 6P order was hit with a shipping delay, otherwise I may have never tried this beauty. I like the V10 so much, I'm cancelling the 6P order (for now) and am going to run this as my daily driver for a while.
Honestly, I can't get over how light this feels for such a large phone, and yet it feels so durable that it will become the first smartphone I've ever used without a case or screen protector. The rubberized back not only makes it incredibly comfortable to handle, but eliminates any worries about scratching. And the stainless steal sides seem like they could withstand countless drops (not that I plan on testing that). I do wish I could get the the fingerprint sensor to work better however. As I mentioned in a different thread, so far it is not on par with the iPhone 6S+ or the Galaxy S6 Edge+ sensors.
It's very speedy, no doubt thanks to the 4 GB of RAM. Even during initial setup and app downloading, there was no noticeable hesitation or lagging at all. At the prompting of another poster, I listened to some music this morning. Sounded fabulous through headphones AND the speaker, though I will not listen to music through the speaker much. No need to cup your hands with the bottom-facing speaker either. (I also thought the G4 had very loud external speakers as well.) The nano-SIM card is such a welcome addition. Thank you for that LG. No more adapters needed for me.
OK, have to go submit my information for the SD card and extra battery promo that LG is offering. Nice bonus.
EDIT: As I suspected, the V10 is lighter than the iPhone 6S+, despite what I've read in spec comparisons. Pulled out our food scale (don't judge) and the V10 weighs in at 6.85 oz and the 6S+ at 7 oz. Small difference for sure, but easily noticeable when handling them both.
