Theres something wrong with my phone!

Hi Guys,
Okay so 2 days ago my phone started freezing and such. Gallery and music and contacts and all of those when I open them nothing happens. All my other external apps such as whatsapp instagram etc just close when I open them as well. The message "com.google.process.gapps" has stopped keeps coming up. Rebooting and such didnt work. Then, a few hours ago because I had turned my phone off, when turning it back on it just carried on rebooting without stopping so now I have just left it off.
Please help! What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Go into recover. Hold home +volume up + power until samsung comes up and release.

Do a factory reset. That should fix it.

External apps? Try pulling the SD Card and see what happens!
