Hey guys I was reading online something staying that L is a lot more thermal efficient is this true? I have a g3 witch as we know tends to be a bit of a heater? How will L make a difference if at all any? What has been you're experience? I appreciate all feedback thanks!

I would think that has more to do with your hardware than your software, but I suppose it's possible that Lollipop might not demand as much processing power or battery power as Kit Kat, which could result in less heat. I haven't heard of people's devices being less hot in general, though.

It's funny I do agree with you I don't remember where and I can't seem to find the link but I was reading about how the nexus 5 was heating less after the update, at least we do know I is less power hungry than Kit Kat!

I've noticed my N5 is cooler to-the-touch after extended use with Lollipop.

Stands to reason. The same efficiencies Project Volta implements for battery should directly impact the CPU and hence the generation of heat.
