These stupid ear buds

still won't die! I've lost them a few times, they've been chewed on by the kitten, tied around crib slats by the toddler, gone through the laundry (twice) and then the dryer.



The rubber around the back of the ear pieces are ripped, the wires are exposed in several places...but it still works! I love these headphones too; I'm thinking a bit of heat shrink wrap should do the trick.

ROFL! I've found the only way to kill something is to start shopping around for a replacement. Almost guaranteed my TV, PC, headphones, etc will die about a week before I'm ready to buy the new one thus getting its "gizmo revenge" because I even considered replacing it.

I washed mine too. When I wash them they started to tangle more easily afterwards.

I think these 'buds are trying to commit suicide because when I do lose them, I just use my work phone's 'buds instead - a Galaxy S3.

Put dryer on delicate and 2 good dryer sheets in for 20min will take that tangle out.
