AM I EXPECTING THE IMPOSSIBLE? TO TYPE THINGS INTO, MANAGE FILES ON MY EPIC 4G TOUCH VIA DESKTOP COMPUTER?
I'm new to the smartphone world. Have been managing with a cell phone and a PDA (Palm Tungsten e2) for several years.
I've looked and asked and read and searched and seem to be asking for blood from a turnip. I want to transfer contact information from Palm e2 to Epic 4g Touch. It looks like I'm going to have to enter most of it. It's tedious but I'm willing if it gets the job done. But I can't seem to find a method of entry other than thumb-typing on the device. Is there really no way to type on a ten-finger keyboard and enter information? Impossible to copy a Word document from my pc to the phone? I've seen terms like "root" the phone, but haven't succeeded yet in actually doing so.
Clue me in, please. Your genius is my only hope.
