Things to be aware of before rooting a Samsung device?

What are the things that I should be aware of before rooting a Samsung phone? I heard KNOX can crash your device if handled incorrectly..

Hi

The most important thing is to do MUCH research on your particular device through our site, XDA's site and youtube tutorials. And most importantly, don't do it unless you're ok with perhaps permanently bricking your device, though rare, it could happen.

Unless your device is a flagship device, or other very popular model, I would not attempt it, but, that's just me.
