I tried to install Cyanogenmod 10.1 and i tried to allow ROOT access like it said to do. Downloaded said files from here Install Android 4.1.2 with CyanogenMod 10 in the Samsung Galaxy S3 | AndroidADN but i didnt check to see if it was for my phone type (Mine is from sprint SPH-L710) and when i ran odin with the file it came up with an error. Also in the process of download my firmware as above video says to do Firmware archive | Samsung Updates

I see. That's unfortunate for sure. We usually suggest not rooting devices, but understand why some prefer to do so. Have you attempted a hard reset on the device, with the soft keys? This may not resolve the issue but wouldn't hurt either.

It looks like you installed a rom for the i9300 s3 which is the international version which results in a hard brick. Go to xda they found a way to recover a phone without jtag

The publisher of that web site should be brought before a firing squad for posting instructions that don't make clear it's only for the i9300 version of the phone. Of course, it's also true that phone owners should do a lot more research than some of them seem to do before attempting something as fraught with risk as rooting.
