Think they'll ever bring back the magnetic Nexus Wireless Charger?

I was so disappointed when the Nexus 6 came and DIDN'T retain the amazingly useful magnetic wireless charging that the Nexus 5 has. I rigged and am still using my N5 with the Nexus Wireless Charger in my car and I can't ever imagine going back to having to use a stupid clip/grip holder AND having to plug in a cable in the car.

The Nexus 6 was almost there... it has the power, top of the line specs, front facing speakers, etc.... it was just a few things and it would've been the perfect phone for me. Here's hoping there will be a Nexus 5 successor coming soon.
All I ask is Google bring back the magnet! Also a good camera!

I'm going to be taking a long look at the next Nexus device...and hope it has Qi charging as well. There's nothing more convenient than placing the phone on the charger and picking it up to go without messing with additional cables.

People who never had the Nexus 5 or the old Palm Pre just don't get it. It's not JUST the qi or wireless charging. It's wireless charging AND a built in magnet. THAT is what was revolutionary and amazing that for whatever reason hadn't been replicated by any other manufacturer.

Please check out the link i posted and watch the video. I know it's not the slickest video but you can see how amazing the Nexus wireless charger was. It charged the phone AND held it in place with magnets. It was built into the Nexus 5, without any need for any extra cases, stickers, add-ons at all!

Having once had the Pre, I can attest to the awesomeness of the charging stand. +1 on the request for something similar.

Sorry you were so unlucky. Had my setup for a year and a half in my car and it was so convenient. I've just recently upgraded to nexus 6 and it's the only thing I miss.
I ended up getting one of those cheap car magnet mounts and had to stick an ugly metal disk to the back of the case so I could magnet mount the phone in the car again and I had to go back to plugging in the cord to charge. Luckily the battery life is much better so I don't need to plug in unless it's real low.

Still it feels like a huge step backwards.
