I have never owned an Lg device,But I follow all things android and the G4 really looks like a great device, albeit a little big for me. I'd still like to give it a go. I've read that it didn't have quick charging when announced, but now it supports it? I'd be getting the Verizon variant of the device, IA the quick charging available for the phones yet? Or is that in a future update.

I am enjoying mine (the International Model). One of our mods (dpham) posted a comparison for the LG G4 on Verizon versus the International one. See the link below :).

The G4 does have quick charging.

Didn't exactly answer my question. I know when it was first unveiled they said it did not, in may they changed and said it did. Is it already available to every g4?

the Verizon G4 supports quick charge 2.0 meaning it supports 9/12v charging. However It charges about 20% faster than the stock,or about 35% in half an hour. The s6 can do 50% in 30 minutes. Qualcomm rates quick charge 2.0 capable of doing 60% in 30 minutes on a 3300mah battery

I was just curious because I have a quick charge 2.0 charger, thank you very much.

G4 is my first LG device as well and I am super pleased with it! I've had Samsung devices in the past (Note 2 & 3) and most recently the Nexus 6 ... I am finding LG's UI not too over the top like TouchWiz. I like the useful features they have added on the G4 and the screen and camera are just crazy good!!

I say go for it! I don't think you'll regret it!

You won't regret getting the G4. It's a great device with a sweet shooting camera and beautiful screen. I actually have the adaptive fast charger that came with my Note 4, and it works great with my G4. Charges much faster than the OEM charger out of the G4 box. You can find great deals on Amazon for the Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 , I saw one for $10. Good luck!

The size is the only concern I have, sadly Noone I know has one... Let alone an android phone to begin with. Seeing it in a store doesn't help much because they have a society lanyard attached to the back of it

Just give it a try -- if you can't stand it you can return it and be good :). Back in the day I thought I would never be able to handle a "Note sized" phone but after trying the Note I was shocked on how easy it was. After 2-3 days you don't even notice it anymore until you grab a smaller / older phone.

That's a very good point haha

^^^ This. My wife didn't want the Note 3 due to its size, but because of circumstances had to get one and now she loves the size. (She will be picking up the LG G4 tomorrow)

Well I went for it! I'm getting the black leather black from Verizon, I'm very curious to see how it feels.

Congrats. I think you'll like it a lot.

For me, the size seems less than it actually is. I thought the same when I picked up a G3 in the store last year. I'm coming from three straight Droids (Razr Maxx HD, Droid Maxx, Droid Turbo). The G4 is about the same width as a Turbo, a bit taller, and it's thinner.

So guys I got my G4 yesterday And I am already pleasantly surprised by it. I haven't had a plastic phone in a while so that's the only thing I'm iffy about. The size is definitely a non issue, It seemed so much bigger in the store when attached to the security lanyards they have. This screen is brialliant. Placement of those back buttons are perfect. All I need to do is get acclimated with this sized phone. Glad I posted here before making my decision ! Can't wait to keep enjoying this.
