So I'm thinking about picking up a galaxy watch today. I have been a long time wear os user. My current watch is the Ticwatch E.
Im a guy with smaller wrists, the ticwatch e 43mm case fits me pretty well so I was thinking about getting the 42mm galaxy watch, but the larger battery is in the 46mm is really appealing. For anyone who has seen them side by side in person, does the 46mm look that much larger?

How is Bixby on the watch for doing basic things like setting timers and sending texts? I have seen the reviews where it is bad at some more advanced tasks but I just use my Google assistant for basic things.

I also use Google play music, I know there is no stand alone app for the watch but is there at least a basic play/pause, next track option on the watch when playing something through play music?

Hi, I always liked big and comparing side by side the 42mm looking really small on my opinion but I guess you should try both on your wrist.
Bixby is working fine for coming tasks and I am able to use music control for the Deezer app, I can't say for sure for other platforms but I guess they pretty much work the same.

I have been using for two days only but yesterday finished the day with 73% but I don't use always on. Will try and see the difference.
I do receive a lot of notifications and use the fitness function every morning for one hour.
Feels that battery lasts 3x more than my Gear S3.

got a good deal, love it thus far. I'll have to see how step and sleep tracking is and play with settings to help battery life when i get used to it. Being very careful not to bump it against anything

As a pretty heavy Google Play Music user I quite like the interface. You can play, pause, skip, volume+/-, and see the upcoming songs in your playlist (as well as click a track to move to that track). Pretty much the only thing you can't do is open the program and start a playlist. I'm pretty pleased with it

costco has the 46mm for $309 right now...best buy has it for $319.

great watch, pretty good deal
