Thinking about getting captivate

I did some research on a few subjects that concerned me...checking your yahoo email and getting music and pics off my macbook onto the captivate. So, if your dl programs like k-9 or maildroid, you would be able to check your yahoo email with the touch of one button? Or would you have to go to the browser and sign into yahoo?

Can you simply make the phone act as a usb drive and drag music and photos off macbook?

and whats the deal with the gps? Will it work when i turn on the phone for the first time?

Yahoo has a mail app, which automatically receives your yahoo mail.

The phone will act like a big USB drive if you want it to.

GPS functionality seems to be a lottery. If you care about GPS, you might want to look at another phone, or keep swapping them out at AT&T until you get one that works.
