Thinking about gingerbread update

Is upgrading to gingerbread worth it?

I've been wondering the same thing for a couple days now... I've read about txting issues with it not displaying names, restarting the phone when it shouldn't etc.

Anybody know if these things have been fixed yet?

i talked with an agent today and she said that she has had a lot of complaints about gingerbread from everything from texting and a whole other problems,i have the captivate but the udpgrade hasnt been released yet ,as for the atrix and the other phones that the upgrade has been recieved they have had alot of problems.

They have put out an update 2.3.3 recently. I had several of the issues on my DX and since this new update/fix I have had no issues so far.

There small issues don't always appear and the update is definitely worth it. The UI is a lot better and the performance is significantly improved.
