Thinking about returning?

I have been with my galaxy s7 since Friday. I have been on both platforms, more recently ios. I manage a few companies social media accounts and I absolutely hate the notifications for Facebook/Messenger and Page manager. They sporadically show up random. Is there something I am missing. I followed some online stuff on disabling things on both the app and website. I haven't been with android in a while but just some nuances I have seen. Also the phone gets warm randomly (not charging). I am thinking about going back to iphone 6, maybe the 7 will be water resistant with better low light. The only reason I got the S7 was for the water resistant as a backup (not needing a separate case and the lower light capability). Any help or advice would be great.

Quick reply from lockscreen without needing to unlock to send?
Facebook and just general notifications outside Samsung so up when they want?
Better email client, stock is sluggish and I dont want to use the gmail as it constantly pushes?

Lock screen text messages work same way in iOS and in Android, if the phone is locked you have to unlock phone to reply. Both have slide to open and require you to enter password before taking you to the text messaging app. That is if you have a password lockscreen.

iOS you can reply on the lockscreen and send without unlocking. I know sometimes you need to verify with the lock/fingerprint but it will send directly from the lockscreen without the need to unlock completely and go into the app. My main issue is getting those notifications to work properly.
