It's been years...I'm almost ready to make a jump to ICS. There are several phones I want to take a look at: Any positive or negative opinions are highly sought after.
1) Samsung Galaxy S II (III) when it gets released.
2) Motorola RAZR MAXX
My use case: Business primarily.
I use calendaring extensively and must be able to sync to MS Exchange 2003/7. Ability to schedule on other people's calendars a big plus like in MS Outlook and see free busy time is a big plus.
I also use Google Calendar for my calendar as well as shared calendars merged into my profile.
Email: Again Support for MS Exchange 2003/2007 with push/active sync.
Support for Gmail, yahoomail. IMAPI support necessary with multiple personal folders.
Hopefully in one view like WebOS's email client.
Contacts: Sync with Gmail contacts, yahoo contacts, Facebook contacts, Linkedin contacts, possiibly more and have a default place to store default contacts when entered in by phone.
Nice solid camera, hopefully with auto-focus support for full motion video as well. 8MP or better.
Of course a solid music player, do not need sync to Apple iTunes as I hate that anyway. I want to be able to access the file system to drag and drop files to it.
Video player to support Xvid files, MP4, maybe even HD files output by HDMI.
Need USB support to native file system.
Must have the ability to support alarm clock with multiple alarm settings.
Need a good GPS mapping directions system. Google Maps, etc. To drive and search for places.
I'm sure there is more.
Any thoughts? Any other suggestions?
I'm also thinking of a Windows 8 device as long as it's not bloat ware.
Thanks!
