Thinking of going back to stock

Ok so im having an annoying time with my phone being rooted. My phone has rebooted itself randomly atleast 2 times a day. I have gone into safe mode 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I get force closes on facebook and gmail., I have went back to stock and went thru everything to get to sc 2.9.,. Ug im just loosing it. I have sc 2.9 with red revolution as my theme.., its hard showing someone my rooted phone when it acts up all the time

go for it. with the devs hard work it is easy to go back to stock through odin, and if you decide you want to flash a different rom again that's easy too

It sounds like somthing u r doing isn't right I havnt had any problems u r having maybe u should go back to stock and then redo everything and list your steps like everything u did to make sure u havnt missed somthing.

Several questions.

1. Are you wiping caches and stuff?

2. Are you using a task killer?

3. Have you tried fix permissions in the advanced menu of cwm?

4. Are you flagging with cwm or odin?

The random boots are possibly from the aosp and rotary lock because of music controls. You need to flash the 2.91 patch in the sc sticky. You should be fine after that. After the patch I'm not having a single problem. Also make sure when you use themes that they're compatible with the ROM up to date also make sure you clear cache and dalvik cache prior to flashing anything.

IF YOU MEAN FLASH. I USED ODIN TO GET FROYO. SINCE THEN IV BEEN USING CWM TO UPGRADE THRU ALL THE SC 2.X'S

You would be correct. I agree, and also flash the 2.9.1 patch after you get it done with odin and back up to 2.9.

this is pure stock froyo no root or anything,,,,,, this writes to more partitions than other froyo methods....meaning anything that may not be where its suppose to be will be cleaned by this package
