Thinking of selling my iPhone XR to get the S10...problem is I have an Apple Watch

Re: Thinking of selling my iPhone XR to get the S10...problem is:

Another good watch option is either the Ticwatch 2 (NOT Android Wear), or the newer TicWatch Android Wear versions. Great hardware, reasonable prices AND works with both Android and iPhone. Pass the Apple watch along to the husband. :)

The non Android version is most likely only available used

Re: Thinking of selling my iPhone XR to get the S10...problem is:

yeah I had one...battery life was awful.

I have the Samsung Watch S3 Frontier. When I got mine the battery life was great. Then they came out with an update and the battery life was awful. Then they came out with another update because so many people complained. I think they fixed something on the update and my battery life has been great. I can probably have it last for 2 days (I don't really know since I charge it overnight) but when I charge it the battery isn't even half gone.

Also, I like round watches not square or rectangle watches. When I grew up that what watches were. They were round.

For those stating how good their GW battery life is, do you also get good battery life after you've spent an hour or more of working out? How many notifications do you have syncing? Do you reply to text messages via your watch? What type of watch face are you using?

I ask this because these are all normal functions that impact the battery one way or the other. I have the Gear S3 and if I don't go to the gym, I can get through 2 days without a charge. Some complaints about the S3, but I don't expect mine to go 5 days between charges. I charge my phone daily, sometimes more lol, but my watch is doing alot for such a little device.

As far as the original question here. Either give your hubby the Apple watch or sell it and buy a Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Sport if you want more of a fitness featured watch, or the Gear S3. My Gear S3 has worked awesomely (awesomely, is that even a word?) and won't trade it for anything. Well unless mine is dead and the next Galaxy Watch brings back MST. You'll lose some functionality between an apple watch and the S10 and that's not fair to you or the apple watch.

Yeah I've decided to wait. I'll see how all the reviews are once people are using the S10. I might just upgrade that XR to the next iPhone.

Waiting for delivery in my s10 plus and sold my Apple Watch series 4 today for 380 and bought the Galaxy Watch. Will sell my iPhone XS Max 512 once the galaxy arrived and is set up

I wouldn't do that. The Apple Watch is better than anything currently on Android.
Disagree. My Galaxy watch is hands down better than my Apple watch. From battery life right through to everyday functionality. Not to mention the Galaxy watch looks way better and is more solid (premium) feeling.

Count me as another Apple (4) iwatch supporter. I dumped my Gear S3 after awhile because it feels like a bowling ball on my arm. The newest generation iwatch with the loop band is worlds ahead on comfort. Good watch too. I flip back on forth between Android and Apple. Right now I got the Max XS but I’m interested in the 10s.

You must have the smallest wrists in the world lol. I've had a Gear S3 Frontier for a while now and I never once thought it felt big or heavy on my wrist. Best smart watch I've ever owned.

Cool. That's your opinion. But Galaxy watches lack a lot of the refinements that are on the Apple Watch and they look like a giant Frisbee sitting on your wrist.

Objectively speaking, Apple Watches are better than anything currently on the market.

I liked the Watchmaker customizations for my Gear S3. The iwatches have pre cut templates. The infograph on the iwatch 4 is pretty good but I enjoyed keeping a library of watchfaces to pick and choose from.

I had the series 4 apple watch and it was really nice. Worked well and did what it was supposed to greatly. But the new galaxy watch last longer, and has sleep tracker built into it where the apple watch does not. I also like the turnable bezel
