Coming from Verizon with a razr maxx. What android is recommended for great battery life, great signal and ease of use with att?

Well, if you're coming off the RAZR MAXX, pretty much anything on AT&T is going to be kinda rough as far as battery life is concerned. I had a RAZR, went to AT&T and got the Sony Xperia ion. Nothing but good things to say about this phone, I haven't looked back. If a Sony phone isn't your cup of tea, then I've heard that the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the HTC One X are nice phones as well.

I agree. Ion, X or S3. All get what you want.

I also just left sprint for at&t. I picked the one x because of the screen and camera :)

You really can't go wrong getting the Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X, or Motorola Atrix HD.

You should also consider the Google Galaxy Nexus direct from the Play Store.

What about the Galaxy Note?

If you're looking for latest and greatest, I wouldn't recommend the current Note right now. All signs point to it's successor being announced soon, and released shortly thereafter.

It's a fine device though.

But when will that phone come to AT&T? Specs wise, it is up there with current devices.

I have used both the HOX and the S3. I like the S3 the best so far. Go in and try out the phones! Only you can find the one that fits you best.
