Just received my razr plus today and so far I love it. Reason I didn't wait for the new model I only paid $250 for this one.

And how important are security and Android system updates, Moto is the worst at providing regular updates. when compared to others.

I always wanted to get a moto razr. So I finally got the razr plus 2024. I still don't like the lack of updates. Currently still on android 14 and Feb 1 security patch. Hopefully Moto will at least stick to bi monthly updates like Oneplus does.

That said, I really do like this device so far. Feels much better in the hand than the z flip 6. Not nearly as slippery without a case. Ill update if any major problems pop up. But so far so good.

Yeah it just depends. My razor 2023 plus gets more regular updates than the 2024 plus.

My 2023 plus has android 15 and just got March security updates

My 2024 plus has android 14 and on February security patch

I've been pondering the ultra. Processor and battery alone is compelling me

I'm having a hard time understanding what Motorola was thinking with their release this year. Specifically the plus version. Why, it's the exact same device as last year's model with a possible improved hinge.

They could have omitted the plus and just release the regular razr and the ultra which are the only 2 relative models.


Smh... And you can get the 2024 plus cheaper than the 2025 plus.

Yeah I would be more apt to pre-order if they would do decent trade in especially for their manufactures devices. But I think they are giving something like 200 for the razr 2024 plus and not much more for a s24 plus. Stupid, and razr 2023 plus, forget about it.

They are adding an extra 200, so for the S24+, they are giving you 250 plus the extra 200 for the 1TB version bringing your total to 850 before tax. I don't think that's to bad for the 1TB.
I checked what samsung was giving for the S24+ towards the new S25 Edge and its 500, so not a big difference from the 450 moto gives.
