Third Party Wireless Tethering

I want to tether over wifi adhoc, not through usb cable. I can't find any apps that don't require me to "super root" my phone through the app catalog. It doesn't have to be through the app catalog, but can someone show me a link were I can get an app or the name of an app i can buy?
