Hmm, interesting. That might tie in nicely with being able to boot Windows 10 on some Chromebooks as well.

Agreed. I discussed this with a group of Microsoft Developers at Ignite last week. It is something they are discussing. The biggest hurdle is what they would need to pay Google. The huge benefit is the deep OS integration they could do with their apps. Especially Cortana.
