This gps is really starting to tick me off

I installed the updated RUU. Using stand alone gps and google (not Verizon) and no other apps I get a fixed location lock just about as fast as it takes the map to load if I am outside or in a car, and I get a fixed location in about 5 seconds inside.

+1.......has worked for me too, although it seems like I have to run through the process every other time I use the navigation

Question...are you waiting for the swirling circle to stop spinning so that it is replaced with the LAT/LON data once the gps locks on? This can take several minutes.
