The OS on this tablet is Android v6.0. The audio is fine on the speakers, a regular set of headphones and a stereo headphones with boom mic. The headphones with boom mic has 2 separate stereo mini plugs, 1 for the headphones and 1 for the boom mic. the head set with the boom mic also came with an adapter to plug the 2 stereo mini plugs into the 1 mini jack with 4 bands on the mini plug for the tablet.
The problem is when I plug in the adapter to ether feed audio out and into my laptop or feed audio from the laptop to the tablet. There is no audio going ether way, into or out from the tablet. The sound is still going out the internal speaker when the adapter is plugged in but the head set isn't plugged to the adapter. But when the headset is plugged in then it works just find. I tried a 2nd adapter in the tablet. The same thing. Now my Dell laptop has the same same audio jack, both audio in and out on the same jack. And both adapters work on the Dell just fine. Whats up?
