This is ridiculous!

Phone was announced last month. The release was set for March and now what. We're more then half way out of March with out a damn set release date even. I was looking to make myself a birthday present (25th) but now i honestly don't even care. The hype and excitement about the phone died before it could even get released properly. I don't like being left in the dark especially after a company already tells you when the phone is coming.

At this point I'm strongly considering waiting for the gs4 which is something i didn't even consider when this phone was suppose to come out the 24th or whatever. Htc shot itself in the foot

So because of poor marketing on HTC's part your considering passing over their device?

I completely agree that HTC shot itself in the foot but the amount of marketing and hype over a phone's launch shouldn't affect a purchase decision, that's impulse buy territory. Weigh the specs and advantages of each device and figure out what one would best suite you. Either way, the One will be out first so there will be a wealth of information on it to help the decision.

I switch phones a lot. If the one comes out in April no matter if it's April 1 i will pass. I don't like being led to believe one thing and something else happen. You want my money then give me straight answers otherwise i have no problem waiting for something that will come out when it's promised to

Assuming your in the US or Canada I'm sure you will be fine, HTC is apparently ensuring that there are no device shortages in north america when the launch happens.

I don't believe that at all. It's the 16th and not one carrier announced a definite day or even a pre order

Calm down!! all of us have to wail until the phone out(I think mid April) I think HTC know how they doing.....
good news is this phone isn't gonna sold out because a lot of people may looking to the S4..instead.

That's the right attitude! If it takes a couple extra weeks to get to me I don't have a problem with that. If I'm getting a phone on a 3 year contract I'd rather make sure it's the right one and waiting a bit longer for it is fine by me. Better then buying phones on a whim.

As long as we don't see HTC one (AT&T) review or unboxing on youtube it means we still have to wait..BB Z10 (AT&T) review just came 3-4 days ago and the phone will out on 22...hopefully we have more update after BB go on sell..

Who cares. He can buy what he wants for any reason he wants. Why are you so defensive for HTC? The One will be a great phone. It doesn't need you playing cops and robbers all over Android Central to ensure its success.

I was asking his opinion, alot of people are going to feel the way he does and get burned by how HTC handle's its marketing. I personally think HTC did a poor job with their marketing so I'm trying to see how much of an impact it's going to have for it's popularity. Now, if you have a problem with me then either deal with it in private or ignore my posts.

I assume it will be well into April before a release. I hope the delay is because they are prepping a 4.2.2 update. I'm also considering a s4 to now. Either way, we have to wait.
