"This item is not compatible with your device" on google play.

Hey there. So i've wanted to buy Grand Theft Auto for my HTC EVO V for a while now but its not available on the play store. I get a "This item is not compatible with your device" on the website. So I rooted my phone and followed this guide How to Install Incompatible Android Apps from Google Play - How-To Geek to trick google into thinking I was on a device that is compatible with the game. Well, this guide no longer works. Modifying the build.prop seems to do nothing. Anyone know how to get around the "This item is not compatable" message so I can download it?

did you reboot after modifying build.prop file. A reboot is needed to enable the setting changes.

Already tried No matter what I change in that file, it doesn't seem to effect the play store. Anyone know a new way around it?
