Instead of downloading a rom to my computer and putting it on my SD can I just download it directly to my phone?

yes it will save to your sdcard under download

Be sure to move it from the Download folder to the Root of the SD. It won't show up as a flashable zip if you don't move it.

Correct. What I do is in linda file manager:
Sd--Downloads-- zip ROM-- Longpress Cut-- back out to SD card-- menu-- edit-- paste. Boot into recovery and you're good to go.

Thanks everyone!! This will help me a lot. It usually takes hours to download it on my computer cause of my slow internet.

This is what I do too. I use Astro to copy the file to the sdcard directory.
