this phone is testing my ocd...please help

I just got the bionic on Friday and Im still learning to navigate it. My husband set it up so I guess the gmail is ny mine acct. When i get an email, it comes up twice on the status bar.... can that be changed? ????

Should say "...the gmail is my main..." clearly im adjusting to the touch screen

Are the two icons the same? Or does tapping one take you to the GMail app and tapping the other take you to a different app? Or, to ask differently, did you go into the app drawer, tap "EMail", and then, in the "Set up accounts" screen that follows, tap "Email" again and set your gmail account there as well?

Well, Im not sure. My husband set it up. I was thinking I could just delete the account out of the Email app and leave it on the Gmail account(does that make sense) but i cant figure out how to delete either of them

simple.

go to "My Accounts". click on the account u want to delete. click Remove Account.
