Before purchasing this phone, I had the Note 5, Then went to the Moto X Pure edition and when the Nexus 6p was announced, I ended up with that for awhile.

As you can see, I have quite the problem. I can't keep phones, because I have such high standards for phones. It also doesn't help that i work with all these on a daily basis at Verizon. So I've used owned and played with many MANY phones.

I actually won the LG V10 and decided to give it a shot. After having it for about 4 days, I can safely say that it's extremely underrated and unfortunetly it won't get the recognition it deserves.

It's faster than the N6P

Takes better pictures than the Note 5

Battery is better than the Note 5

Display beats all phones i have mentioned.

I've noticed better signal strength than the rest as well.

Don't underestimate the V10.

If I understand you correctly you work at Verizon. I am a Verizon customer, me and my family. I started watching videos concerning the v10 and I'm very intrigued with the v10. I currently have an LG g4 that I've had since July. What is my best option for trading in my LG g4 and getting the v10. I went to my local Verizon store but it wasn't pleased with the Rep. It must have been close to lunch.

I agree the V10 won't get the recognition it deserves.
It's an LG phone and not Apple, Samsung or Motorola.
It is thought to be a low volume niche phone launched in the shadow of the Moto Droids at Verizon.
Most stores only had a handful at launch and I knew more about the phone than EVERY salesperson I have talked to at Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Most didn't know what it was the day it launched in their store.
It's not even being carried by Sprint or at Best Buy.
I'm happy to have the best phone that nobody knows about.

I bought it at bestbuy yesterday. So I know they at least sell it. Not sure how much they have in stock.

That's interesting. The Best Buy in my area said they weren't carrying the V10 and it wasn't even in their system.
Maybe some areas have decided to pick it up as they have gotten inquiries.

That's weird. Yeah I guess so. Also I got a free LG 24inch 720p TV with it. I wasn't expecting it at all. I know it is just a 720p TV. But hey free is free! Lol.

Joe, is the signal strength much better then with the Note 5?

I'm thinking about dumping the Note 5 for the V10, if it only had wireless charging.:p

I asked about it at Best Buy the day I got mine (at Verizon), they told me they probably were not going to get it. It just shows it all depends on who you talk to at the store.

The display is better than the Note 5? It's faster than the 6P? I'm sorry but I cannot rely on that.

The display on the N5 is over saturated and colors are inaccurate. It looks better, but it doesn't mean its better. The V10s display is natural, accurate and and sharper.

As for speed, I use Nova on the V10 and N6, The V10 is more fluid for some reason. Could be Nova tho.

I agree. I went to the Best Buy today and the Note 5 colors look cartoony and oversaturated - more so than my Note 3. I guess some people like that though.

It's just like buying a TV and using the Vivid settings. All it just it crank up brightness, contrast and sharpness, but colors are completely off and unnatural.

I loved the display on note 5. When watching movies (especially horror) the blacks are so much blacker than v10. V10 is a very dark gray. But the v10 is certainly a step up from my lg g3 I had a while back. As for speed I can't perceive any difference. I don't play games so I can't comment on loading times or fps.

The deeper blacks are because it's an OLED display. LCD will never have quite as deep of blacks as OLED. OLED isn't backlit like LCD, each pixel is it's own light source. I like the screen on the V10 quite a bit. It looks quite accurate.
