Those who got or about to get a replacement DX....

pretty much all DroidX's are going to be 'new'. Even with them flaunting 'certified pre-owned', I seriously doubt they have that much of a stock of 'fixed' phones to send out. I got a replacement, and it came in a generic box with no battery, no memory card and no battery cover. I have LOVED the new droid... new or not.

I hate that the X is a Special Order phone in the corporate store here now. I was there because my wife's BlackBerry had crapped out, and made the mistake of trying the demo X out. Sure enough, the earpiece on it sounded perfect even with the volume cranked up all the way. I ordered mine just after midnight on launch day, and the first thing I noticed when I called to activate is that the earpiece didn't sound right. I didn't bother trying to take it in during my 30 days since I knew they didn't have any in stock. I went ahead and had them look at it yesterday, and they ordered me one. Even if it is a refurb, at least I know it can't be any older than the one I have now.
