Well, the phone came. Excitement quickly became rage as I noticed on the second sheet of paper, where they have your contract options listed, instead of "unlimited" like the confirmation text and contract I signed on the website, it stated "2 GB $30" for data. BE VERY CAREFUL. Verizon is a huge slithering, dirty **** snake. I am going to call them and confirm that I'm retaining unlimited per my signed contract, and will report back.

Also, the phone comes in a faux wood box, not sure where Sooks' white box came from.

Waiting on update.

Also, did you pay full price, or try and get it at the discounted contract price?

blazin probably got it during the "Glitch" so according to news sites Verizon is honoring the "glitch" orders.

They will fix it. I've read others just had to call and they changed it.

I did, but as far as we all knew it wasn't a glitch it was an offer. It just happened again three days ago, so there's that. He says he has no knowledge of that, and can't "find" my confirmation email. I have it right in front of me with about 30 screen shots of the order process. Still on the phone.

Wait till he puts you on hold then magically he finds the information. I spoke with executive care and they stated it would also be honored. I wont know for another month since my note 3 isn't being shipped till the gold iPhone 5s is available to be shipped.

He was unable to find the information. Apparently Customer Service can't see emails sent to my account from the online store...this is 2013 right? He's having me activate my Note 3 and is going to try to apply the unlimited post-activation. He seems like a nice enough guy and I know it isn't his fault, but damn Verizon for the hoops we have to jump through. AT&T doesn't pester those grandfathered plans like this.

I would get that in an email or writing. They are way to sketchy to trust.

I activated the Note 3, he called me back in 3 minutes, and told me it was all set. He asked me to sign onto the website to verify, and I did. I still have unlimited, for another 2 years. Thankfully this all worked out, just wish it had been smoother.

You know why they don't bother their "unlimited" customers right? They throttle their speeds after 5 GB. Verizon is still giving you the full unlimited with speed and all.

This is true. I average 3GB, and have never gone over 5GB, but it's nice to know it's there if I need/want it.

It is nice. I had to go to T-Mobile for unlimited. Sprint was just to slow at my work. I average 10-15 GB a month. Last month I was streaming game tournaments and hit 54 GB :D.

Did your account show 2gb right away? The reason I ask is because my receipt ended up showing the 2gb but when I check online it still shows unlimited. I am wondering if I should be worried or not about losing unlimited. I do have the note 3 activated.

God, I was literally pissing myself when I logged onto the Verizon site and it showed me on a 2GB plan. I immediately went into live chat, and forwarding them a copy of my original e-mail receipt seemed to have done the trick. They say that I should have my unlimited data restored within 48 hours.

I was paranoid a bit when the receipt that came with the phone said 2gb and after dealing with an inept agent, I just went ahead and activated it and decided if it changed my plan, I would call executive customer service in the morning. To my surprise, it did not remove unlimited data.

Hey guys,

Just activated my phone and got switched to 2gb. Went ahead and called and got it switched back in about 15 mins. If you need to call, be patient, be nice, have your email in front of you and I also had the Verizon memo posted here on AC on my computer up also. Restarted my phone and checked the "My Verizon" app and I'm back on unlimited!

Hope this helps someone!

I've been keeping an eye on my legacy unlimited plan every couple days "just in case" until my first post-Note 3 bill arrives from AT&T.
