Thought it was just my PC now the phone won't charge at all

Hey guys. Just got my U11 about a week ago and I am already having serious problems. Yesterday I started a thread wondering why my U11 would not charge when connected to my Laptop or Desktop via type - c to type -c cables. Then when I got home I realized it actually wasn't charging at all. So I restarted it an it bootlooped. I got it out of this state by taking the sim out. It came on and sat on 55% for a solid 24 hours without being charged. Then it died on my way home today. To get it back on that time, I held power and both volume buttons to put it in safe mode. When turning it off of safe mode, it restarted to a black screen. I thought it was completely hopeless at this point and out of frustration hit it off my metal water bottle. This flicked the screen back to life. So now I am confused as o if this is a hardware/software or both issue. Either way I requested a return from Amazon. Anyone else experience anything like this?

I'm so sorry this is happening to you! Sounds like your model is defective in some way or another. Perhaps it's a battery/hardware issue; or perhaps the problem indeed lies with the software. Let us know how your return process goes!

Ok so I just got my replacement from Amazon. Notable difference between this one and my first are:

1. The power button on the new one is a lot firmer and has a more tactile feel to it.

2. The camera is superior on the new one. I took a photo with both the phones side by side, zoomed all the way in, and was shocked at how much noise was in the first's shot.

3. This one charges (so far)

4. I trust the water resistance of this one more because there aren't half mm gaps around the screen.

5. There is so little light bleed on this that it looks like it's off when displaying a black image.

It seems like I just had a dud last time. Fingers crossed

Glad to hear this.

I haven't seen any light bleeding on my Sapphire Blue yet and the blacks look as good as my s8 does.
