Thoughts on Swype

I was quite skeptical about Swype, coming from Blackberry and all.

Minutes after unboxing the phone, I set Swype as the default input mode.

I have one thing to say:

IT IS AMAZING.

Swype by itself is awesome, but the best part is that it operates as a normal keyboard if you don't drag your finger. I am forever a Swype user.

I've been using SWYPE on my Droid ever since it became available in Beta. I love it and never use the other keyboards, hard or soft! The fact that the X comes with it native was one reason I decided to get the phone.

I also have been using it since beta...had it on my incredible before I sent it back.

Swype is the next generation of texting period.

it can be installed on other droid phones without a custom rom or root access.

First time trying swype...I like it alot...takes some getting used too. Didnt understand how to store a word in the tutorial...but I'll figure it out...I think eventually it will be amazing for me.

I find myself faster using the stock kb in landscape mode. But faster with swype in portrait mode. Wish there was a setting for this.
