The USB port on my phone broke and I am getting a replacement. So I can't backup a recent copy of my phone. Do I have any other options to make the switch easy? Contacts are handled by Vzw. Thanks

If you are rooted, and did a backup, then it should be stored on the sd card, or you can use titanium backup or similar to back up data and apps.
