Thunderbolt only 1x inet connection problem. HELP!!

Hi Guys,

I'm having problem with my Thunderbolt. It does not want to connect to EVDO, the internet connection is only 1x. I'm from Indonesia, and we do not have 4G LTE. I have tried all methods including changing the Rev A. to enable from eHRPD. It still does not want to connect to EVDO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The times I've had problems connecting and have only seen 1x speeds, I've restarted and it started working again.

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend doing a hard reset.

If that doesn't work, I'd try taking out the battery and SIM card for a bit... then re-inserting and trying again.

If nothing works... back to Verizon.

does indonesia support the same 3g band as verizon and that it's supported in your area? you can also check to make sure the battery cover is on tight, and that there is a good connection between the leads on the phone and the leads on the battery cover.

Silly question, but its because I have no understanding of the towers in Indonesia...

Are you sure you have towers around you? I understand there are towers, but are they close enough?

Check the bands of your towers, im pretty sure your only going to get 1x if even that. Didn't think they really had other cdma carriers around the world...
