thanks for the review, but its pretty much bs that you knew about the battery issues but verizon wouldnt let you post about it until everyone already ordered it, and leading everyone to believe that the battery problems were fixed and in order with the battery life specs listed for the device.

mmmm, so the battery is really that bad? uuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr was this test/review even after the battery was cycled a couple times?

It was cycled twice, so it may get better. As I said, those in the LTE area will be affected worse then those in 3G.

I discovered for myself, the battery issue yesterday and even posted in this thread yesterday what my experience was. Read my posts.

Thanks for the review. Does ANYONE have any word on Skype? This would be a big selling point for me. Now that the phone is released you'd think we could get a straightforward answer on the matter.

double edged sword: i live in a city/area that's completely LTE covered...

gonna love the fast download speeds, gonna hate the resulting battery (w/o any toggle) :)

now it's just time to wait until someone develops an LTE toggle and we can all breathe a little easier

a guy over on droidforums "i'm getting my thunderbolt today baby" thread, or whatever it's called, installed swype on his pre-sale unit. unsure if it had previous firmware or software build that would allow swype.

but yes, this is a big seller for me, too. i'm Swyping on my Evo and i hate to think the TB wouldn't be compatible

Closing this thread up. There's too many different topics in it that already have dedicated threads. I'll do my best to move posts out of here and into those.

Reviews go in the sticky not in external blog sites. We have our own blog.
