Thunderbolt vs Droid Charge

$300 for an in-contract phone? Nyet.

On the other side, $200 for a phone that's only marginally better than my DX? Also nyet. I'm sticking with what I've got until we see some serious advancements.

But that aside, in terms of pure functionality/hardware/features, I'd say the Charge is probably better.

Just trying to decide which one is better coming from an iPhone 4. I really like the speed of LTE, would the thunderbolt perform better cause of extra RAM since the both have same processing speed?

Why don't you go to your local Verizon Store and Test both Phones out!!! Then you decide which one you like best!!!:)

  • First off the Charge is not out yet so how can anyone tell you which phone is better.
  • Second Which one is better is subjective to the individuals
  • Third this is in the wrong section, should be in phone wars

@KatieMayLynn Seriously?:confused:

We know the Charge is better because insiders like BMX have told us.

oh im sure its better to him, but again its to the individual.

Trust me my TB is gone as soon as they open up best buy tomorrow morning.

I'm on the fence right now. I like the Charge and like LTE, but I'm thinking I might just pick up a G2X on T-mobile since its only $199 more (sans contract mind you) and wait it out until the first LTE dual core devices show up. I dunno. I'll see what the Charge is like tomorrow.

Get the Thunderbolt, despite how great Super AMOLDED plus is, touchwiz is still pretty laggy and can just get messy, it's not samsung it's the software they put on top of android.

It seems like the only thing the charge has on the TB is the super amoled plus. TB's processor and ram seem to be better, thoughts?

No. Hummingbird is still the better processor. (and it has a better GPU to boot)

The Charge has a bigger battery and better screen. And as bad as Touch Wiz is, its still not as bloated as Sense.

Ram is not ddr2 its ddr so just cause the number is higher doesnt make it faster

and once we get rid of the touchwiz it will fly.

The battery life specs on The Charge are better than The Thunderbolt.

The charge seems like it has better battery life and a better screen. I'm not a big fan if sense because I think its become to bloated so I would probably get the Charge if I had to pick between the two. But to be honest I wouldn't get either unless I had to have a phone right now.
