Is anyone else worried that the HTC Saga will come out soon after the ThunderBolt and trump it?! :-\

I like the design of the ThunderBolt but prefer the form factor and design of the HTC Saga. I like the feel of a slightly smaller screen because it does not make the device feel bulky.

What do you guys think?! If the TB drops on Feb. 14th it would be perfect timing because the Saga will not be announced until MWC (Feb 14-17th).

It depends on what carrier it launches on. This could be the evo successor everyone is waiting for. Or not. Who really knows?

Maybe a dual core of some other kind for a different carrier. It looks like the evo and optimus had a kid, though, lol.

We'll probably see the Saga at MWC. It'll probably be a European device. We'll get some version of it here, just like the DInc was based off the Desire. NBD.

It looks like my Eris. That screen and case will get so dirty... yuck.

1Ghz processor and WVGA resolution, what is wrong with you HTC? Lol. You guys are becoming a joke. As much as I love the design of your phones, you guys simply refuse to innovate and keep up with hardware.

Don't hold your breathe just yet Arcadia, I would be very shocked if HTC didn't announce some sort of dual-core device before the end of April.

I'm a little concerned about this too. I'm looking forward to the Tbolt but I can see HTC putting out a bigger badder device only months later and me being jealous. I don't want the TBolt to be the Eris of 2011.

I'm an up and coming new to Android soon as I can upgrade member ... please explain what would be the problem with the Thunderbolt being the Eris of 2011? I haven't made up my mind which phone yet so your comment is intriguing and I'd like to know more.

The Eris was quickly overshadowed by the tremendous success of the original Motorola Droid, and it's life cycle was incredibly short. If I remember correctly, Verizon only sold the Eris for 2 or so months.

It was also cut incredibly shorter because shortly after it was released, rumors of an incredible phone started to surface, and when it was released, it was so far ahead of the Eris, the device soon became irrelavant.
