Thunderbolt WiFi only

Anyone know if there's a way to use only the WiFi connection on the Thunderbolt while traveling over seas....Turn off the 3G/4G radio so it only gets data over WiFi....don't want to pay international data roaming charges.

Go into settings turn off radio and then flip on WiFi.

I just did it last month. Turn airplane mode on and only use wifi.
