Two questions, I am new to this inductive charging thing:

Do you need a special battery?

Can you use the Palm Touchstone Charging Docks? They seem to be dirt cheap.

you can only use this with the standard battery, no special battery is needed.

you cannot use cover with the touchstone, you would have to physically modify the thunderbolt to work with the touchstone, but it can be done, it was done on an evo, should be similar for the thunderbolt.
