TicWatch Pro Can't install system update

I got my TicWatch Pro yesterday and after I set it up, it prompted to download and install some updates. I did, and got it to the newest version of Wear 2.0. Since then, there has been another system update notification in the notification tray and after some time it will say "Couldn't install system update" and no matter how many times I try again, it doesn't work and I can't get rid of the persistent notification. Anybody else have this issue?
 
If you don't get any other helpful responses, try a factory reset of the watch.

I just got a new update system for my watch but when is verifying the download always came with the same error:
"Can't install system update try again?"
And i´m tired to say yes but always return the same error.
I have restore the watch but still giving the same error
Can anybody help me please
 
I am having the same issue - just started today - i have tried everything I can think of -even a Disconnect and reset of the watch - - still same error.
so the Factory reset of the watch did - not - work.

I am guessing it is a bad system update - perhaps a new one will show up at a later time - i am giving it a week before I return the watch.
 
Same issue here. New System Update for my Ticwatch Pro. Can't install. Gets to "Verifying" and then "Couldn't Install Update". Error Message won't go away... Glad I am not the only one!
 
I have Android 9. I have installed updates before with no issue. Wonder why this one is different.

Thanks but what i mean is that since the update i can start any conversation with whatsapp or sms, i got the error that watch is not connected with the phone, but what i can do is answer the messages.
And other issue is that i cant get or do any phone calls with the watch always get disconnected and i have to use the phone, and all this with android 8 doesnt happen, thanks again
 
I am on 8 , and the issue is on the Watch - not the phone -
After Factory Reset and reinstalled everything - still not working
Again - This is a System update on the Watch - I am suspecting it is a TicWatch level issue.

Looks like the cause of this could be an update to the Google App on your phone. Looks like downgrading to an older version has fixed it for some. The message issue is happening on even 8.0 devices, from what I have heard it is related to an update with google app. I verified by downgrading to pre-update app and the issue went away, once I upgraded it comes back and I am on 8.0 device. Google has acknowledge that issue and is working on a fix. Seems to be more than ticwatch pro though.

But I too have the failed update issue on my ticwatch pro as of this Morning.

I was in the middle of factory resetting my watch when I submitted that, unfortunately it didn't fix the system update failing, however I can confirm it does in fact fix the Google assistant "cannot connect to phone" issue, as well as other voice related stuff like sending a SMS, etc.

I really hope the system update issue is resolved, it's very annoying... No idea what to try next...
 
Now see if mobvi can fix the problems with the calls through watch , get disconnected from watch
Sorry is not mobvi problem its wear os phone app that is not compatible with android 9

Just an update for me -
I got a Pie update on my Samsung 9 (Verizon) last night and now the issue has 'magically' disappeared from my TicWatch Pro

Still running Wear 2.2 and Android OS 8.0.0 on the Watch - but the annoying error has gone away.
