Tight USB port, faulty?

Is anybody else seeing this? Mine feels tight and some cables are a struggle to insert properly at all.

Also as an aside (not sure if it might be linked or not) a USB C memory stick is not recognised by my OP6 when plugged in whereas the same stick shows up just fine on my Note 9.

Wondering if I may have a faulty device?

I had a S9+ and I had to reformat my memory stick before it would work with my OP6.

I have not had any problems with the charging cable.

Amazon are sending me a replacement, I found that some fitted, some did not fit at all and some only fit one way around.

The memory stick (which only fit one way around) worked ok when I enabled usb otg, seems this setting is off by default!
