I just wondered if there is any way you can add or alter what tiles appear when you pull down from the right hand side of the notification bar and click on settings. I'm sure there used to be a lock auto rotate screen button but it seems to have disappeared!

Oops, I've tried doing that with my Note but it doesn't allow me to do that in fact it opens the appropriate setting when i tried holding and dragging it. The problem seems to be weird, sorry can't figure out why your auto rotation screen is not there !! :'(

Yes it's pretty easy to do if you're rooted using GravityBox

Thanks for the replies. I'm not rooted and it seems a lot of effort just for having a tile!

Thank you for the app suggestion though, I think that will be good enough. Giving it a go now :)

If you are rooted and like the customization associated with Roms but don't want to go and install one, then Xposed framework with gravity box modules are a simple way to change everything on the stock ROM.

It is very popular for nexus devices but the framework and modules are designed to work on all stock-like android devices so there is no reason it wouldn't work on the moto g.

Here is a video about the framework in general

And here is his follow up video for gravity box.

You will be amazed with what this thing can do to customize your phone. It has Navbar, status bar, pie controls, immersive mode, lock screen tweaks etc. All can be enabled inside this single app.
